Hello All,

I've been reading this Forum for nearly a year now and thought it was about time I join. Lots of great information here. I got into Home Brewing last year when my sister gave me a Mr. Beer kit for my birthday. I brewed the two included kits(Grand Bohemian Czech Pilsner and Aztec Cerveza) and have since moved on to custom recipes using DME and LME, Specialty Grains, and Hops. Still using the LBK(2.13 gallons fermenter) from the Mr Beer kit at the moment, but I'm hoping to upgrade to a 6 gallons kit soon.

I made an extract Honey Ale that came out good, but I confess I drank it too soon. :tank: This one could have used another 4-6 weeks in the bottle. Maybe longer.

Yesterday I made an extract Belgian Wit. Really looking forward to this one. :rockin:

Anyway, glad to be on board. See you all around the forums.

Cheers,

Outlander

Welcome! Many, many brewers started just the same way. I know I did. I still occasionally use the MrBeer or BrewDemon fermenters. I also use an Ale Pail and a couple of 12qt steel pots. Anything that will keep light and dirt out.
