Whats happenin,
a buddy of mine told me about the site so i figured id check it out. we started brewing earlier this summer and have two under our belts(the second to be bottled this weekend). first one turned out well, hopefully the same goes for the second.
A little something about myself. im 22 and go to Purdue.

Welcome. I'm relatively new her too, and from Peoria. I'm on my 4th batch, actually brewing right now, an Octoberfest Extract batch from Brewer's Best. It's not a true OF because it uses ale yeast, but i'm sure it will be good brew no mater what.

welcome to the board. I'm in Bloomington... and there have been plenty of other new people from illinois in the 'introductions' section -- so keep an eye out.

Also, I am thinking about getting a central ill big brew day setup at one point or another.
