Hello from Southeast Texas

Hello all! This is Gary from League City, TX, a city halfway between Houston and Galveston.

I always told my friends that I was going to try my hand at home brewing when I retire, and since I retired this past July 13, it's time to make due on the many promises I made (I have many folks that I promised a bottle of beer to!)

I look forward to learning and contributing!

Welcome from California and congrats on the retirement! Do you have all your gear ready for a brew?? I pretty much got hooked the first time I helped a friend brew. Even when life gets busy and you don’t have a ton of spare time, home brewing is always fun to step right back into.. especially with all the help you can find on here if you’re a little rusty like I was lol

Welcome! I used to live in Rockport in the winter, but Hurricane Harvey displaced us and so we may not be winter Texans for quite a while.
