Hello everybody! Love this site. Just got into this hobby August of this year. Have made so far in the following order 6.5 gal cyser, 5 gal cider, 7.2 gal of Apple rhubarb cider, and 1 gal of wild yeast cider. As you can tell I have Apple trees!
The csyer is in its 2nd month in secondary after 3 weeks in primary. It tastes pretty good now, can't wait to bottle it in December. The Apple rhubarb cider is the other one i tasted and it is much better than the cyser, but still has much more fermenting to do. The others i haven't tasted yet.
Well this is long enough, I look forward to corresponding with everyone in the future and helping out where I can.
Take care

Welcome to the community from Florida!

John

Hey thanks for the welcome. I grew up, lived in Melbourne/Palm Bay area haven't been back since '04. Brother still lives there and swears I would never recognize it now. I left due to crime and traffic (way to many people living there then and I only imagine it got worst). The only thing I miss from Florida is the fishing!

Fishing is great here that is for sure! Plus I can brew in the winter on my back lanai by the pool and it is beautiful outside! We visited Montana a few years ago and also went to Yellowstone. Beautiful state! I loved it and everyone was friendly. Your winters are so cold but I guess you are used to it. I would definitely visit again, and go fly fishing!
