Hello,

My name is Joe, I am a beer aholic. Oh wait wrong group.. I just purchased my first set up this week and started my first batch about 20 minutes ago. I started off with a Mr Brew kit with a Diablo IPA. I promised my wife that I would start small and not go all out like I do with every hobby. But the good news is I am married to a beer lover as well so as long as my beer is good, "we can expand". Any advice or recipe ideas is always welcome.

Good way of starting out I did the opposite I went a few steps further and just finished my first brew a Scottish ale on Sat. you can make good beer with that kit I have a friend who uses the same kit. Cheers
