Hello From Chicago Suburbs

Hello Everybody!!! Long time craft beer lover and first time brewer here. I've been interested in home brewing for quite a while now and I finally took the plunge and picked up a starter kit. I picked up a primary/secondary starter kit, some initial supplies, and a extract kit to get started with before I branch out to more difficult brews and methods. I have my first batch, a cream ale in my primary fermentor, and I will be moving that to my secondary in a few days. I found this forum after googling a few questions and finding threads from here with the answers I needed.

Hi, you picked a great town for home brew. Go on FB and look up Chicago Home Brewers Group. All the other home brew groups/clubs are part of that group for grain buys, cider, hops, ect..
