Hello from Balad, Iraq

Its kind of an attention getter isn't it. And no I don't live here all the time. I'm stuck here in the Army with a new friend (Cheeto) who introduced me to this website. Its been nice to read through all of your posts while here in the sun and sand. I wish I could tell you about what I have in the works or bottled even in my keggerator but as it stands now, they are all empty and 9000 miles away. All I can say is I have plans for what I hope to start when I get back and hope that you all occasionally raise a mug for Cheeto and I.

Wow, maybe I shouldn't have added the name drop then. I'll try and be cool tho. And a big thanks for the membership help to whomever that was!!!! I've been mostly into Meads and done a few wine's but have always wanted to get into brewing beer not just drinking it.

I just got back in Jul, and I too was in Balad. I don't know if you just got there or not, but I would recommend that you go and eat at Sami's restaurant. It is behind the movie theater. The pizza is delicious. I hope all is well for you. If you need something from the house, just let me know. Send me a PM. I will send you what I can.
