Greetings folks,
I'm Mick. I'm a Park Ranger here in Texas, an avid motorcyclist and musician. I've been wanting to homebrew for years, and finally had the disposable income to purchase equipment a few months ago. I borrowed equipment from my boss first and brewed a Northern Brewer Cream Ale kit in June. It turned out well, but it wasn't fully carbonated. After that, I bought my own brewkit (Northern Brewer Deluxe, 2 glass carboys, bucket, etc). My second brew was a Belgian Dubbel. It's currently in its 2nd week of bottle conditioning.
I'm looking into what my 3rd brew will be. I'm leaning towards a Stout or Porter, but its not quite cold enough in Texas to maintain the fermentation temperature without racking up a huge electric bill.
Anyway, greetings!
