just thought i would say hi...have been reading the forums for sometime , and have taken a lot of useful information away ..

Iam a very new current brewer...lol this is my 3rd try at it and things are going better this time..am still on the Extract Beer kits thought i would keep things simple till i get my hands in...am trying a Youngs Harvest Bitter this time.

Things i have done different this time Are 1,dissolved the Sugar (Brown) in the hot water on the hob before i put it in the brewing bin 2.rehydrated the yeast and 3 i didnt use the yeast on the can that it came with....and things are looking up

It started off 5 days ago with a Gravity of 1.048 and is 1.010 today

Its looking better to .my last lot never got the foam on to top this one looks like a big chocolate cappuccino (Good i hope!!?)..lol

well i will let you know how it goes and thanks for the replay
