Hello all at Home Brew Talk. Eddie from Pensacola, Fla. giving out my introduction to all the members.
35 years old, married (Kati) with 2 dogs (Abbie & Jenny). I am a software specialist for a development company that creates software that turns paper checks into electronic transactions. I am also a professional scout for football and basketball, for a third party scouting agency called Champion Scouting Services.
I got into brewing last Christmas after receiving a Mr. Beer kit from my wife. Had a lot of fun with it for around 6 months, then decided we needed to step it up some and go with 5-gallon batches. Family issues arose and I had to abandon a lot of my brewing plans.
Thankfully, everything has since worked out and I am getting back into the game slowly and steadily. Just to get back into the swing of things, I have 2 beers currently fermenting away.
A lager we named 'Amerilager' as well as an IPA. Nothing too fancy, still brewing with extracts until I can get some materials and new brewing equipment back in the mix. Another 5-gallon equipment, most likely Williams Brewing.
Looking forward to reading and learning a lot on the boards
