Hey guys first time posting.
This is my second time home brewing.
First time my pale ale came out really good.
I want to know if this looks normal. Primary fermentation
A blow off tube assembly may be needed. The haze is from suspended yeast.
Is your fermentation temperature in the range for the yeast being used? Yeast produces heat as it works. Actual fermentation temperature can be 3° to 10°F higher than the ambient temperature depending upon the OG of the wort.
Use a blowoff into a bottle of sanitized water. But ya your ferm looks good. Make sure your fermenter is somewhere where the ambient air is 5 degrees lower than your target fermentation temp. You’ll be grand!
Unsolicited, but I'd invest in a better bottle or some brewing buckets. Glass carboys give me the heeby jeebys. Lots of horror stories of people cutting themselves severely if the carboy is dropped. A lot of times these glass ones are made poorly.
