Has anyone ever had an issue with an off flavor of harvested yeast from a pumpkin ale? I've got wyeast 1056 in the fermenter right now and this will be my first attempt at harvesting. The recipe called for one can of pumpkin and 1/2 tsp of nutmeg and 1/2 tsp cinnamon (I added a tsp of pumpkin pie spice as well)during boil. Will it pick up any off flavors for future brews?
