Hey guys,

I'm working on my keezer and bought a 4-keg Midwest kit that came with picnic taps because I wanted to get Perlick faucets instead of the faucets that came with their kit that included them. As such, I need to get shanks and tails to connect the 3/8" hose to the faucets, but am having trouble finding what I need (noob alert! :drunk:).

Can somebody please point me to the hardware I need to complete the setup? I think I need:

Pass through shank:

1/4" stainless beer tail piece:
http://www.midwestsupplies.com/1-4-stainless-beer-tail-piece.html

I guess I'm confused by the "Use these in conjunction with a chrome plated hex or wing nut when attaching to a keg coupling or shank" wording on the tail piece page and would like to only pay shipping one time.

Thanks!

I just picked up my shanks from HERE, also got THESE.

The 3-1/8" shanks will work for up to a 1-1/2" wall thickness. The shank in your link is more of a bulkhead fitting, the faucet will not mount to it. You will need shanks, tail piece to fit your beer line ID, beer nut & washer. I'd suggest going with stainless for anything that will be in contact with beer. It doesn't cost much more & you should never have to replace them.
