I made hard cider by mixing a 1 gallon of pasteurized apple juice bottle with fleischmann's rapid rise yeast, cranberries, a couple tablespoons of sugar, cinnamon, and a few days later I took off airlock (which is a balloon with tiny needle-hole) and put in raisins.
