Growing location

I will be planting hops at my cabin in northern Minnesota and have two sites in mind. The first site is closer to my cabin and would allow us to water regularly as well as do any maintenance to the plant however due to some nearby trees the afternoon sunlight would be less. The second site is in a field on our property but it is deep in the woods. The advantage of the first site is regular maintenance and the advantage of the second site is a tremendous amount of sun exposure.

I guess my question is what matters more to hops more sunlight or regular maintenance (water, trimming, etc...)

I appreciate any advice.

in my limited experience, proper hop selection, max sun and good trellising go a long way to hop growing success.
