grolsch bottle rack design help??

Hi,
I can not find any Grolsch bottle rack ideas.

I am looking to store Grolsch bottles upside down on a shelf/table.
I am thinking of using ends of 5/8 OD copper pipe or maybe PVC that would keep the bottles upright. I am not sure how fasten the copper or pvc down though...making a rack joined together with Tees? .... just at a loss on how to do this without a massive effort or cost.

Surely someone has done this before me?

I am not interested in making a slotted hole in a board...sorry.

Yes something like that is what I am looking to do.
Not sure how much those fittings will cost.... and I am looking to put down a bunch of them.

I want to store 14 on a shelf, 2 shelves. I have a specific size and spot for the shelf I am making.
That would be a bunch of fittings.

Maybe if I use 1/2 copper or pvc I can drill a hole in a board and glue in a bunch of pieces and not use tees .... thoughts?
