Greetings from New Jersey. My name is Mike aka Blind Mike, and I am low vision legally blind, and at 51 years old am finally embarking on a decades long dream of making wine and mead at home. I have a feeling it's going to be an interesting journey, and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with the community.

I will probably asking many questions as I search out low vision accessible equipment and workarounds. So I would like to thank you all in advance for any information and experiences you wish to share with me.

Welcome @BlindMike to the community from Alabama. You will find many good resources for both wine and meads here. I haven’t made wine for many years but I make meads regularly. They are fairly easy to make and can be very rewarding. Enjoy your journey into the addiction of homebrewing.
