Well, I might as well pitch in. I am Steve from Evanston and we just sampled my very first homebrew, an American Pale Ale. It turned out great and better than expected. Both my wife and I started out in the food industry, so this is like getting back into the lab/kitchen for us. Great, great fun. Thanks for a super forum - which makes brewing and drinking beer more enjoyable, if that's even possible.

Yep. I met the gang recently, nice bunch of knowledgeable brewers. They were having a public brew day outside of FEW Spirits. Looking forward to joining in the fun next time they meet.

Yea I've made it out to one before. It was about 2 years ago. I happened to get invited by a co-worker who has a brewer friend.
