I moved from my primary to my secondary fermenter today and although I didnt get a reading at the beginning, I kinda know what is should be, so I figured if I got a reading today I would at least know where I stand at this point.
I had what I though was a problem in the beginning, I believe I pitched my yeast a little to hot and I never really got any bubbling in my primamary, so I was a little worried and that is also why I got a reading today.
I grabbed a sample about half way throuigh the process and when I was finished it read 0.990.
Its supposed to be:
Starting Gravity: 1.064
Final: 1.017
I'm not really sure what a 0.990 reading means at this point, but I dont think its good. Any ideas?
