I recently purchased a Grainfather G30 v2. I've been using Brew n Water to calculate water and salt additions. This time I attempted to use the GF app's water calculator and it is showing three times the amount of salts (Chalk, Epson Salt, etc) for the same recipe using Brew N Water and Brewfather. Is it really that far off that's it's not reliable?

I believe the water salts from GF are based on the difference between the water profile you enter and then the style of beer you pick from their list. Sometimes their style choices are kind of generic and don't match exactly the beer you are brewing. You have to just pick something close. I would go with Brew N Water.
