Is there a recommended line for glycol cooling? I need to cool a tower and a small trunk line, maybe 10ft each way.

I thought about copper/stainless but it would be a royal pain, a bit pricey, and there's the risk of kinks if it got moved or bumped. The tower has 1/2" copper to the shank cooling plates and my pump is 1/2", PVC or vinyl would seem to be the easiest, or should i go with a harder material line like barrier line?

anything that will hold water or beer will be fine for propylene glycol.

I used copper but would recommend polyethylene for the reasons you list. If you look at commercially available lines, that's what they use.
