Hi Guys,

Just picked up a second fermenter, I've only been brewing now for about 4 weeks but have already started to feel the addiction getting stronger!

Ive started to looking into keg systems as this seems the way to go long term and there is a system for sale on gumtree that includes the following:

2x Cornelius ball lock kegs
1x gas regulator
1x set of connectors in and out and tubing
1x fridge mountable tap

The guy is selling all of that for $270 and says it's only been used twice and he needs to sell as he needs the money.

does that sound like an OK deal?

It will get worse lol Within just a few months..maybe 6 or so, I went from all extract brewing to AG and kegging. It is super addictive but costly...well worth the cost though.

With that keg set up, I personally wouldn't get it. Does it come with a CO2 tank? For 2 used ball lock kegs (Northern Brewer sells excellent used kegs), new reg, new Perlick faucet (worth the money) and new SS shank you are looking at around $220 to $230. Then you would need the disconnects and tubing which would be about another $30 at the most. So you can get all new stuff (except the two kegs) for the same amount.

That is without the CO2 tank. If the person is selling a CO2 tank, then it might be a different story
