Getting into Nitro taps: Is there any point to bottling it?

Haven't had any experience yet with my nitro setup as it needs to be setup, and the beer needs to ferment for awhile yet...

The question I have is once I've got the kinks out and everything is working correctly, will the nitro effect on the beer translate to bottling from the keg(using the BMBF of course)?

It will have no effect, the nitro will just partition into the headspace in a short amount of time - its not very soluable in water. That's why guiness has the widget.
