German-American India Pale Ale? or maybe Special IIPA

Ok I'm a fan of IPAs but also I'm a fan of big malty lagers, now I was wanting to combine the best of both into an IPA that has a nice malt backbone, I kno it can't be as big a malty backbone as a bock or so but if i throw some vienna in the grain bill and do a double decoction would I get a good backbone or an overpowering malty that completely counteracts the hop bitterness, I created this recipe http://beertools.com/html/recipe.php?view=11375 to reflect what I think would be good for this beer, unsure of the style almost like a German American India Pale Ale, but that style isn't real so its just a special beer I guess, any help is appriciated!

I rarely follow guidelines anymore I just brew what I think tastes good.
I think that would taste good, but I would up the Warrior to 1.5 oz and put all the rest in at 10 minutes and 0 minutes. That way you have a big malty backbone, plenty of bitterness and lots of hop flavor and aroma

Thanks! What's the difference between 5 minute addition and a 0? I've never don't flame out hop additions, what's the advantage over a 5

4 pounds of caramalts in a 6 gallon recipe may be a bit over the top, but I guess you're not looking for the typical drinkable-by-the-pint goal of brewing orthodoxy with this. GL.
