Anyone in here have any experience gelatin fining a wit?

I brewed a wit with a huge yeast pitch from a pro brewery (their house saison yeast). Right now I'm thinking about throwing some gelatin in and dropping the yeast out so I just have the protein haze.

Thoughts?

I will second that, wits are supposed to be cloudy. Save the gelatin for a pale or something.

I did it anyway for 2 reasons:

1. I'm putting clementine juice in the keg. It won't ferment due to the low yeast content and because it's going to stay cold forever.

2. This is homebrewing I do what I want.

Sorry, had to...

So, was there actually a question?

I asked whether anyone had experience fining a wit. I still wanted protein haze but no yeast.

Of course people advised against it, but I decided to do it anyway.

Like the post above, whuteva, I do what I want! :)
