So I kegged my first beer, force carbed it, put it up to pressure to let it chill properly in my old dorm fridge which turned out to be on its highest (lowest) setting and for some reason didnt shut off, at all. Over the weekend, it froze...solid. I am so unbelievably bummed.
I tried relieving some pressure and I can hear and feel a massive ice cube bumping up and down.
So my question is, should I not touch the pressure as I thaw it out? Or should I let all the pressure out (gradually? since some foam comes out after a couple short pulls), thaw and recarb? I hope I didn't damage my keg, who knows.
This f'ing sucks...
