has anyone every used an apartment sized fridge for a kegerator? something about 5 feet tall, with a small freezer and is maybe 13 cu feet?

Sure. Even the small 5 cu ft Sanyo's will hold a couple kegs. A taller one should hold 2-3depending on how you configure the inside. (esp if you pull off the door racks). Plus it's easy to put taps on the front.

That's what I have at home. The kind with the internal icebox too. I think it'll hold 2 corny kegs (maybe 3, if I decided to drill another hole and run the CO2 tube from the outside).

Hmm..alright, Im thinking about trying to do a 2 keg setup...and space for a third would be good for conditioning/chilling, so I've been debating a 5 to 6 cu foot chest freezer or a small fridge like this.

Does anyone have an opinion on this? Energy, cleanliness, servability wise?
