Brewing a Norther Brewer Sinistral Warrior IPA Extract.

Hop additions:
1oz Magnum (60 min)
1oz Centennial (15 min)
1oz Cascade (15 min)
2oz Warrior (0 min)

I forgot to add the 2oz of Warrior Hops at the end of the boil. I realized this after I had already cooled the wort and was putting it in the carboy. I added them and shook the carboy to help dissolve the hop pellets. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this. What will the effect be vs. correctly adding them at the end of the boil in the hot wort? What would the difference in taste be?

My guess is that you would never tell the difference unless you had another brew done with the addition at 0 min. At the same time to compare.

You will get a bit less bitterness since you added the hops cold...you will get more of the aroma from them since you are effectively dry hopping now. Ive never seen a hop schedule with warrior hops as a finishing hop...and I usually use those as a first addition for my IPA's since they have a high IBU and the aroma isnt quite as nice as cascades or the like, but thats just me. Your beer should be just fine, maybe just a little less hop bite like I mentioned before, but you should have a good strong hop aroma. Cheers, and enjoy.

a addition at flame out does not add any bitterness. I have never added hops after chilling so not sure of the outcome. But I'm sure your beer will be fine. The flame out addition is mainly for aroma.
