I spent all day yesterday brewing a Tripel / Trippel / Triple and as I was getting cleaned up, I noticed my pellet hops that I was going to add just before chilling were sitting there on the kitchen counter. The wort is now in the primary bubbling away. Can I dry hop to cover my mistake? I'm not going for a hoppy flavor in this beer, but I feel like it will be missing an important flavor component without the aroma hops. I did add the bittering hops during the boil.

If I do dry hop, any advice? I've never done it.

Dry hopping would be the way to go for aroma. Just drop the hops in at the end of primary or 3-10days before finishing secondary if you are going to secondary. In otherwords let the hops sit in the beer for 3-10 days. Should work out fine.

Dry hopping isn't a substitute for a normal aroma add, but since it was a flame-out add, they should work ok.
