Anyone else using this method of putting Spiral inserts into the Dip tube to balance the pour of a rootbeer? Cuts out the need for 25-30' of serving line.
McCaster part # 74695A58 Bayonet Mixer Nozzle, 5.3" L, 1/4" Blunt Tip. I've ordered a bunch from there today. Reading alot of guys are having excellant results with being able to serve their beers at much higher PSI (15+ and being able to serve from 5' lines). I have my first Roorbeer on tap. Planning on adding 2 or 3 to the dip tube and hold my PSI at 35, and keep my serving line at 5-8ft rather than having 20' @ 12psi of coiled mess in my keezer like I do now serving flat soda. Definitely gonna use this method on my Ales as well. Cant wait.

How did the mixer nozzles end up working for your root beer?
