There won't be an open sale for Oakworks in the forseeable future, we are adding a few new membership spots, and taking a few members to replace folks who have opted to not renew. The invites are going out to the waiting list in order of sign up.

Bummeroo but I can patiently wait. I believe I followed the instructions properly to sign up for the waitlist. I just love the type of beers you describe in your emails. If you are ever headed to Orange County let me know and I can show you arround The Good Beer Company, we make some solid sours in my opinion.

You're not the only one. I signed up in January of this year. Probably not anywhere close to the top of the list at this point...

Who knows and it's part of the fun right? I signed up way later and have never vigilantly monitored my spam folder before!

FWIW, I've tried this summer to make a few runs whose blends are larger so I can do more of the public releases. The best bet to get bottles is to sign up for the reserve list (ie: register at floodlandoakworks.com) and make sure the info@ emails don't go to spam. There will be a 3 pack public release for sale late November if all goes as planned, but they've been going fast. We are also trying to dig through bottles we had set aside for events/ourselves to do a cellar sale. The public releases have been every 4 months so far, if you're local to Seattle that's worth watching for.

As someone who moved here last September, way after Oakworks closed and a long way down the reserve list, I really appreciate both the public sales and the efforts to get kegs out for special events - the night at Garden Path was particularly good.

Kinda curious what was being sold, and for how much... And I definitely love the 'eff the secondary mkt' sentiment in the email — I'll happily rat resellers out all day, erryday, and I don't need anything other than the personal satisfaction that comes w/ stopping some shitlords from shitlording. Just drink yer damn beer, losers.

I'm down to answer this. Current invites are going to folks who signed up the day of the sale last year, 7/21. There won't be enough spots for anyone who signed up beyond that date for 2019. Public release coming in November, though!

Also still trying to take stock of what odds and ends we have kicking around to try doing a cellar sale of sorts. Genuinely putting as much time and effort as I can into spreading the beer around, including weeding out the shitlords. Thanks as always to everyone who drinks the beer and to everyone who shares the beer.

You know Seattle's truly arrived in the 2018 craft beer scene when simply reiterating that reselling Floodland bottles will get you the #banhammer results in ****** shitlords trying to bully/threaten you in those Facebook DMs. Not gonna publicly name names, but LOL + WTF...

The sheer number of apologists and people willing to flock to the defense of dat #shitlordlyfe is also mesmerizing. Ugh.
