Here are some fish from streams that are rarely > 10' wide:
I dunno, I would say a fish > 10' wide is a pretty decent size.

Big fan of fishing. Used to guide fly fishing in college and it was the best job I ever had. Excited to go on our annual fishing/biking trip to Colorado this summer...only this time I'll have some home brews!
Anyone ever used the Rapala Jointed Minnows? I got one for Xmas and I'm hoping it's a good multi-species lure.

I really miss fishing. ...A move to the soprano state and getting rid of my boat really put a stop to my fishing. I may have to think about getting back into it.
I live on, what I hear, is the best smallie waters in the world...and that thing is RIDICULOUS!!

I tend to just look like an idiot more often than not.
So, you must live on/near Lake Erie? Back in 1996, I hauled a 5lb. 4oz.'er out of Dunkirk Harbor. At the time it was so "big" it made the local paper. Now, it would be a runt compared to some of the slabs being taken out of Erie --- 7, 8, 9 lbs.

Ignore the miller light can. It's what was on the boat and before I started brewing......
