6 lbs - Briess Bavarian Wheat DME (60%/40%)
.5 lbs - White Wheat (Steep 1Hr at 150-155)
.5 lbs - Flaked Wheat (Steep 1Hr at 150-155)
1 - oz Hallertau (60 min)
1 - oz Saaz (5min)
1/2 oz Coriander (10 min)
1/2 oz Bitter Orange Peel (10 min)
1 lbs - Honey (5 min)

WLP400 - Belgium Wit w/starter

i have been informed you need to mash the wheat but atm don't have mash setup was told i could steep then after pour 170 degree water over grains and should be good any thoughts or idea's? :drunk:

I just did a honey wheat kit from AHS. I steeped my grains, and it worked out just fine. It's now bottled, and I have set next Wednesday as my day to try it for real. I'm looking forward to it since I technically already sampled it when taking my final hydrometer reading. ahem. ;o)

Anyone tried a simular recipe? if so whats a good time frame to leave in primary? and a good time frame to leave in bottles before chilling?
