The recipe is simply a record of what someone else did. They got poor efficiency, you got good. If you can't drink the resulting beer with the higher amount of alcohol, I'm sure someone on HomeBrewTalk would be willing to take it off your hands. My first foray into BIAB resulted in my expected 1.050 beer to be 1.070. I drank it anyway, I survived, and after a couple more to verify this wasn't just a mistake on my part I learned to adjust the recipes to account for my efficiency.
