I joined a local homebrew club over the summer and plan on entering a competition they are hosting in October. Im still a relatively new extract brewer and have no visions of placing well in this contest. That said, I am excited to participate and take part in my first contest.
My biggest obstacle at this point is time. A busy summer has not given me the time to brew until this weekend. At this point I only have 5 weeks to the contest. As much as Id like to do a more complex recipe a little more outside the box, I think in order to present something respectable Ill have to be mindful to pick something on the simple side that will taste good in this short time.
Any suggestions? I was able to filter Northern Brewers Extract Recipes by time and The Innkeeper seems like it could be a good choice. Id welcome any other thoughts.
