First time brewing beer ever. Did 2 all grain beers a day apart. A brown ale and a pale ale. We are about 3.5 weeks into fermenting and will be bottling next week. We opened the lids to see what things looked like and this is what we saw.
The pale ale had a lot more stuff floating in it than the brown. Is that normal? Do I just skim that off? FYI the brown we used liquid yeast and the pale was dry yeast if if hat makes a difference.
