I made a starter for my third batch and realized this morning I used 2 pints of water and 1/2 cup DME. The yeast was WLP004. Don't know if I should use this or get another vial of yeast and start over. Any thoughts os suggestions would be most welcome.

I have heard people using a liter of starter. I am sure it would be fine to use your 2 pints as a starter. You will dilute it a bit but you will make beer.

Thank you for the response. Notice a small krausen 12 hours after pitching the yeast and have steady airlock activity. I think I will be OK to use this when I brew my AHS red irish ale on monday. Once again thank you very much.
