After two (hopefully) successful extract brews, I've decided to venture into the partial mash arena.

I've read DeathBrewer's Partial Mash Tips and have decided to give it a try it this Friday, but my question is whether I should also add the "steeping" grains to the mini-mash or whether I should still steep the specialty grains after I've mashed (and combined the mash and sparge). If I steep the specialty grains after the mash, do I run the risk of scorching the sugars extracted from the partial mash?

Just add all the grain into your minimash. Base, adjuncts, specialty grains will all no into your minimash now.
