Last week I did my first full boil with a Bayou Classic SQ14. I didn't realize I needed to do a test burn to burn off the paint. I noticed the smell for about 20 minutes while I was trying to boil 6 gallons of water. Are the paint fumes going to harm the beer any?

Shouldn't, however, with that being said, there are some small flakes that come off when you do that as well... thats what i'd be worried about, but in all honesty, i did the same thing when i got my first burner... and didn't notice anything
