First Batch of Kombucha

Is this a normal scoby? I recognize infections in beer, but still a neophyte with kombucha.

I’m New to this too and just one batch ahead of you, but that Looks like the formation of a new Scoby. at least that’s what my first ones looked like.

Yeah, this is just the beginnings of a new S.C.O.B.Y. Just give it another week or two in a warm spot out of direct sunlight and you should be okay.
