...yawn.... Same old .RaR is expensive convo/grit & grain episode 45 - we get it... Rare is overpriced, I think my half wit cousin could have concluded that.

Can we get back to talking about the lines in Chicago? Heard Star Wars had a pretty big one with lots of butt hurt - heard they didn't even pour any vanilla variants either... What gives?

BUT THINK ABOUT GOOSE'S REPUTATION!

IT'S RUINED! RUINED I TELL YOU! Kiser seems to assume that everyone will think everything over the twelve bucks goes to Goose. I'm really confused as to how he's come to this conclusion. The main thing the infographic shows is that BUD wasted a ton of money on stupid packaging and could have further maximized profits with a paper box. No one bought it because the wooden box. Get real.

Will episode 45 be out before or after the next once ever release of Rare?

Guess they're releasing Chapter 8 (or 9?) on Feb 29, 2016 and then a new episode every leap year following that. Episode 45 will focus on the grain farmers second cousin who drank bourbon county regular once in 2018

It also shows that whoever made the graphic added .25 of packaging costs from the breakout to the final summation.

Seriously though, what is the point of the analysis?

Some of the numbers on that chart are way off, some are not.

Assuming worst-case scenario for the cost of the beer and best-case scenario for the price of the packaging, would you still guess they spent more on the packaging than the product?

custom glass bottle, custom non-standard labels, custom box.....yup. **** packaging costs more than liquid in probably half the beer you buy.

Anyone heard anything on when Clare's might be back on at Haymarket? They have been rotating BA stuff for a long time now, but cannot remember the last time Clare's was available.

And Half Acre apparently started dating their cans.
Happy Festivus to us all!
Yes, it is coming very soon. I was at the Half Acre store today picking up some beer and noticed that the bottom of the cans said "This is a test. This is only a test." Was kinda disappointed that there was no date yet, but I just assumed they were pretty fresh since they just got the can dating whatever you call it.

Just got cans in* the shop yesterday dated ~12/15. "This Is A Test" was like 11/2X.

As others said, those must've been older cans. I grabbed a 4pk of GoneAway with an actual date of 11/30 on them.

Has anyone had this (who the **** is) Hailstorm tequila barrel-aged Vlad the Conquistador ("Russion Imperial Stout with Agave Syrup, Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Chile Peppers")? There's a bunch sitting on the shelf at the Lakeview Binny's for the low, low price of $18.99/bomber.

It sounds...

BB one is better but the Tequllia isn't half bad either...
