Art's Drive In across the street from Stanley's on North Ave does a great porkchop breakfast. It's not on the menu but ask for the Snoop, which is 2 pork chops, 2 eggs scrambled, hash browns, and toast for i think $6.

Snoop is the longtime receiver at Sams/Binny's and this is pretty much his staple, hence the name.
You have fully assimilated yourself already, haven't you?

I am a 10 minute walk from there and oh-my-God.

I think it was a seasonal thing. They only had it the first time I ever went there. Have not had it on subsequent visits. JulianB can you confirm? Can you bring me Bojangles Friday?

Haven't seen the fried bologna in a while so it must be a limited/seasonal item. There's a Bojangles in the Charlotte airport so I'll grab a bag of stuff right before I get on the plane. Might be able to find an insulated bag to put it on or something.

Also that porkchop breakfast sandwich was disgusting the one time I had it. The "pork chop" was rubbery and tasted gross. It's the only Bojangles item I'v ever thrown out (or to be more accurate, I threw out the rest of the chop and finished the biscuit). I've been told it's great -if- you get it totally fresh (i.e. the chop was cooked immediately before serving) but I'm not taking the chance to find out.

what was the thing in the MBA email about glasses? are there like official MBA mugs now or something?

Don't remember having too much trouble with last years taps. Had pours of everything except VR only because I left before it tapped. Waitress hooked us up with 4 pours of prop. Good times and damn good food

middlebrow Gonzoillini There is a new MBA booklet with slightly different requirements (still need 45 total beers, still have milestone free growler fills at 15 & 30) but you must drink some of the Goose Island standbys like Green Line and Matilda. However, you now get an MBA branded glass of some sort instead of that stylish tan t-shirt. I am actually at Clybourn now and will check on the glass. Maybe they retroactively give it to folks who show their card?

With the new BCBS bottle size, how many bottles will come in a case? I assume Rare might be a different count too because of all the wooden boxes?

500mL & 375mL usually come in a 12/case, but goose has bucks to make anything custom so who knows. judging by that picture and the fact it fit behind the seat with some room, that looks like a 12 bottle case.
