In the time it takes you to cycle through a 1000-person line, you can hit at least 2 or 3 Walgreens, right?

Only a few of the Walgreens actually get variants, and they sell out in 15-20 minutes. You can't hit more than one and score variants (unless you are extremely lucky). This is true of almost any store that gets variants in on BF.

Most Walgreens do not announce when they go on sale, it's just when the shipment gets in. Except for the infamous case last year.

Most of the time in that 1000 person line is prior to 9am before anyone is open anyway, you can get through the line by 10 am before many other places are selling it (lots of noon releases) or have even receive their shipments.

Lots of smaller stores that got good shipments in 2013 were shafted in 2014 with no variants or just one variant.

I waited at a Suburban Binny's with only 15 people ahead of me, then immediately drove to two nearby stores, both of which got Prop in... too late they sold out of Prop in 10 minutes and I was there about 20 minutes after 9am, they only had regular left. The allotment I got at that Binny's in the first 20 people was less than if i was 700th in line at LP Binny's.

Driving around you can find lots of regular, variants you have to be there either when the store opens or when the shipment gets in, even in the burbs.

TL;DR - if you want bourbon county variants you will hate yourself.

Yeah way out here in DeKalb/Sycamore, it's even worse. No variants or regular to be found. Stay away. Stay far away.

HAhahahaa i made that joke on Twitter the other day (i think i said March of 2018) and made at least 2 people mad.

Haha...I just watched now that I'm back from California and I was curious how much many more episodes are really required for a beer. They sure are overcompensating for something. Who got mad?

Shameless self-promotion time:

This Saturday, Imperial Oak Brewing is having a great event with our friends at Pollyanna Brewing Company to have fun, drink great beer and support Movember Foundation USA. Each of us brewed an Imperial Oatmeal Stout and added different spices. Our version has vanilla beans and cinnamon added, theirs has cocoa nibs and coffee added. Each brewery will be having TWO bottle releases, one at 12 pm and the second at 3 pm. The Barrel Run will provide shuttle service between the breweries throughout the day so that you can hang out, drink beer and get bottles from both breweries. Bottles will be $12, with $1 from each donated to Movember.

We will also have a raffle at 5pm (proceeds donated to Movember). dvelcich has graciously provided us with the craziest raffle prize I've ever seen.
