I know Half Acre is itching to get their cans back to the store/taproom, hopefully this happens today.

Wouldn't water and Gatorade be a better option? Maybe some Tums for after people hit the sours?

We are excited to announce our featured "Oasis" room at the UIC Forum for this year's#FoBAB. What is an "Oasis," you say? For those who are seeking a well-deserved break from the high ABV barrel-aged goodness that is FoBAB, the "Oasis" is a 30x30 room located near the main floor that will provide everyone with beers that live between 4 and 5.5% ABV. If you need a break, we have you covered. Relax, you have found your "Oasis." Tickets for FoBAB are on sale Friday, September 4th at 10:00AM.

Carbs would be awesome.

I mean, it's a cool thought. It just seems odd that their cure for drinking too many high-ABV stouts is more beer.
But anything besides water will actually cost money (yes, I know water costs money). Beer is free for them right? Just tell the brewers to bring extras.

wasnt their an "oasis" room last year in the VIP area? I never checked it out but I know I donated a low abv case to somethin.

But sessionable beers are IN! I am over it. It's another room to cram too many people into.
This may be a good thing though. They can put that Hailstorm strawberry/lemonade kolsch on in there and that could free up a lot of room in the main hall. I witnessed plenty of jacked Bros buying multiple $10 bombers of ******* kolsch this past weekend while sixers of Metropolitan just sit there for less.

Has Omnipollo BA Agamemnon rolled through the city? I had a back on forth on twitter with WLV and they basically said Lakeshore Bev ****** them out of it. Are other stores going to see it?

I think Beer Temple tweeted that they had it a couple weeks ago. Not 100% sure though, and I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Edit:

I think thats it in the top left.

Let us anti-fobab.
Yes. Let's get a bunch of laid-back peeps together, everyone pitches in $30 for room rental, a bunch of pizzas, and a few cases of Kirkland-brand water bottles, and we have a tremendous no-******** tasting (and maybe some breweries setup some tables or something, if they can be convinced).

It could be the Festival of Beers That Are Really Delicious. FoBTARD 2015. Believe it.

Get ready to pay around $16/12 oz if you find one. I passed when I saw it in Asheville and in Madison over the past month.

Totally expected it to be around that price point, so no worries here. If anyone knows where to find it in the city (or burbs), shoot me a message, please!

Any of you sweethearts happen to have a bottle of Penrose XII they can spare from their entire case? Hugs and kisses...

JUST CAN THIS ALREADY!!!!!
I've suggested before (as part of my continuing series, "If I was in charge of Revolution...") that they alternate batches of Double Fist and Red Skull. Bombers aren't ideal but it may reduce the number of 4-month old bombers of Double Fist laying around while also getting more Red Skull out there. Win win!

I'm so over buying bombers of hoppy beers. Double Fist is awesome too, just not the right format anymore.
