Doesn't surprise me, but I doubt it was 8 minutes, probably was tweeted out late and it had been on the shelf for awhile. I live about 5 minutes from this Binnys and everything is always sold out by the time I can swing by there after work around 4:30. If you're in the area Treebs try Sal's in Elmhurst or maybe even Ardmore Station, things tend to last a little longer at Sal's and they probably have the same PW delivery day as the OB Binnys.

My thoughts exactly, this one sounded tasty to me and I was hoping I could stroll in and pick one up. #newmoney says otherwise.

Two reasons, as I understand it -- the brewery is undergoing a massive expansion and so there's no room to have a party and the Man cracked down about not having the proper permits for events involving sale of food/booze/music.

ya that rev party used to have it all, beer, food pairings, some rarish taps though-out the event, great music, not overcrowdeed, and you get a bottle and a glass to go home. Yeah this sucks. Last years party was my favorite of the year and I was hoping to relive that again. No food and a headliner I don't give a **** about doesn't bode well for this years festivities. Oh well, I should know by now that when it comes to the Chicago beer scene nothing gold can stay.

jerry's put on a killer bell's expedition vertical and BA third coast w/quince tapping which also saw cuvee de tomme, framboise de amorosa, and others. not a #newmoney in sight.

When I first heard that I thought the person was mistaking Black Biscuit for a Kuhnhenn beer. Pretty sad realizing it was actually true and we'll probably never see it again.
