I don't know if old money cares but I finally found Duchessic today when getting some groceries at Eataly. Been trying to tick that for awhile. They also supplied me with Anicca so it was an unexpected beer victory. The Prime Rib sandwich was key too.

I can never find Duchessic. Duchess a isn't hard. Duchessic is the one blended with 1 year old Cantillon lambic. I also live in the burbs but I've not found it at Beer Temple, West Lakeview, etc.

It's definitely not something that flies off the shelf. #newmoney doesn't know.

It comes in this fancy bottle pictured below, you've seen it in binnys. It's usually pretty pricy though, like 35 bucks for a mild drie twang with a pretty lovely saison blend. I think the 88 rating is pretty close.

Not that I don't think they make decent beer, but can we take all the Transient talk to it's own new thread. As I non-member, I frankly could not care less and 50% of this is Transient talk. Crucify me, yada-yada, just my thoughts...

Last year they halted bottle sharing inside the gates at some point later in the day with the rumor being police had been notified. If it isn't allowed this year I could see many people deciding against attending, myself included.
