Not that I don't think they make decent beer, but can we take all the Transient talk to it's own new thread. As I non-member, I frankly could not care less and 50% of this is Transient talk. Crucify me, yada-yada, just my thoughts...

I've only ever had one of their beers and am not a member either. However, there isn't enough to be said about Transient to warrant its own thread. I don't mind a page or two of Transient talk now and then. Gotta talk about something when CCBE runs out of fuel for us!

Edit: Or not!

I'ma be driving up to Central Waters on the 23rd for their 17 release. I can offer to mule for anyone in need, or could even provide a ride if necessary, since I'll probably be rolling solo.

Send me a message if you're interested.

EDIT: Leaving from north Chicago (Ravenswood)

EDIT II: I'm a moron. This year is 17.

EDIT III: Spot filled, and I can only proxy for one person this year.

I fully expected that post to contain 20-50 comments, all discussing whether Abrasive or Hopslam was better...
Ah, good old Hypeslam. Wonder if it'll be like last year, when I overheard some new money say how they bought a case of it and ended up not even liking it.

Also, new money hates $19 4pks, so Abrasive should be safe for at least a week.

umm, aint all these guys friends and being playful fellas on the twitasphere?
If so my bad, didn't pick up on the sarcasm.

Just saw comments like 'I'll start by wiping my ass with what you think of me.' & 'Like lions in a pride...with phones...and they're kind of ******* about stuff'

wrong #oldmoney will eat that **** up. that reminds me I need to bug chris to get an exact date. will report back.

love your (not so nice) MN boy.

I heard it ranged upwards of $18 at stores downtown. The only 4pks I seen on shelves in the South burbs were closer to $16 I think?

we talking smores or grit(abrasive) it should be damn near 20 and I wont cry a bit.
