A second batch was brewed and canned - looking at a 6-pack from Kedzie dated Nov 3. No kegs from this round, just all cans. That will be it, though. Next specialty 6-pack may be Triple Fist - not sure if I agree w/ another big IPA but Triple Fist is pretty good, too. There are worse things!

I had a growler of that beer courtesy of Gonzoillini and loved it, but I've heard the bottles were blegh. I believe it after this ******* beer. I'm tempted to find the brewers and A) demand a refund or B) make them drink a 4-pack each.

The batch you tried was the first batch from Urban Legend which was far superior to either batch 2 from Urban Legend or any of the batches that 51st Ward has put out so far.

That original batch reminded me of OG hop forward Darkness.

Good luck. They wouldn't help me out with my IMBIBE ticket at all. Eating the ticket cost plus membership cost. Refused to do anything but say "too bad" despite several suggestions from myself.

Bad Apple posted about it this afternoon, and I also tried seeing what happened but couldn't find anything online. Sad that I never partook in the food at Maple Tree Inn if they are indeed bringing in a new chef.

Food didn't change when the father died. I don't know why it would change now. I don't know how much time Erich even spent in the kitchen. Just hope he's alright.

A little strange for Bad Apple to post this before anyone from Maple Tree makes an announcement. Rampant speculation entering the vaccuum.

Maybe I'll head up tomorrow to see what's up.
