There were a couple at HyVee Sycamore this weekend. No idea if they will survive that long.
Wait are the limits a suburb thing? I know Surly Eight was way easier to get in Minneapolis and St Paul than most of the burbs here

I like Deth's Tar but it can definitely be had without suffering through a trip to Sycamore

I haven't seen a store that had a limit. NW Burbs here.

Maybe? I don't think HyVee Sycamore puts limits on very many things. They certainly didn't on that one - just sitting in the cooler with the rest of the bombers.

And I haven't even had Deth's Tar but I can confirm this.

Confirmed by vav: BCS 4pks, Barleywine 4pks, BCS Coffee 4pks, Proprietor's 22oz, & Vanilla Rye 22oz will all be $26.99

Probably the biggest dick punch there could be is the regular being priced the same as the variants. Makes zero sense to me.
You mean that the variants are the same price as regular, right? That's what I'm upset about. I recall last year paying $24.99 for regular and the variants were like $20 for bombers and $22.99 for coffee/barleywine or something like that.

$19.99 for bombers, $21.99 for Reg, and $23.99 for coffee/bw is what I took as MSRP last year. In reality, any of them sold for $19.99-$34.99 at various stores.

I didn't pay over $19.99 for Regular BCBS last year and everywhere but Binny's the variants were much more. Having everything the same price is very odd to me and I'm not sure I understand it.

See, the original plan was to sell the variants at $35 but because they love us so much, they reduced the prices to be in line with regular BCBS. They did us a favor by offering this special discount on the variants.

(That's how you spin that one, InBev - send me a case and I'll write these for you all day)

Will be buying zero bomber variants. Maybe a 4pk if I stumble into some coffee. Pricing is out of hand IMO.

LOL, Firestone 18 just sold out at the Oak Brook Binny's in 30 minutes. Firestone. 18.

Up until two years ago I could still find 13, 14 and 15 turding it up. This is just getting so out of hand.

You think that's bad, the Orland Binny's had Stone Smoked Porter with Chocolate and Orange behind the counter today and were handing them out one per person. It was almost all gone after just a couple of hours.

This is probably akin to the people just getting in line because there's a line. Oh, it's behind the counter? Must be limited, have to buy. Rare loot!

I'm sure that is a big part of it.

Best part is when they look at you like a weirdo when you say you're not interested in that stuff. I was at Oakbrook Binny's on my lunch break last Thursday and they had just tweeted they got a ton of FFF. I was only there to pick up some Born Yesterday & stock up on the last remnants of Fierce. I had multiple employees and one dude just shopping act like I was crazy because I didn't want any FFF.

Had a guy pull that on me once. I had no interest in whatever **** Truffle Abduction variant he had hiding behind the counter that day. He really couldn't believe it.

Think any of this has to do with all the Binny's having Twitter now and hyping the **** out of whatever they get in that day?

"OMG Neapolitan Stout just arrived VERY RARE WILL GO FAST LINE STARTS NOW!!!!"

My Binny's no longer uses Twitter. When I asked why they took it down they said the corporate office doesn't want them tweeting while on the job. Said they can still use it when they are not on the clock but that's it, but our guy didn't want to do that so the account doesn't even exist any more.

Anyone know if Haymarket ran out of Clare's Thirsty yet? My blood sugar is low this morning after 3 12 oz pours last night. I'm pretty sure that was at least 2000 calories.
