Agreed. I think I'll just drown my sorrows at the Half Acre taproom, pick up my Transient beers from the Beer Temple and put up an anus stretching ISO when I'm drunk later that night.

Speaking of Transient bottles...anyone have any additional info on the Wayward bottles? Still available at Beer Temple? Will they eventually be available at One Trick soon?

No idea on if they'll be available at One Trick, but I went and picked up the bottles I purchased online last night and saw maybe another 3-4 cases of it. They are 650 ml bottles and they ran $7.99. Nice beer.

Guess I've been living under a rock...I didn't know BT offered this. Thank you very much!

Place is going to be a ******* zoo.
How do these releases typically work? My brother is considering heading over from KC but hasn't ever been. What time should he plan to be there if he actually does go?

#inb4 "the line already started" :)

Well the info doesn't much matter now, but Cory ended up with a lot of unopened cases, so everyone got their allotment. The allotment was 1 of each per person, at $30 a bottle. They marked your hand with an X so the only way to try to get more was to scrub it off and go again but they had 3 people just watching the crowd and several idiots got called out on their 2nd attempt. He seems to be saving a lot of the bottles for his upcoming tap room opening if I had to guess. Anyway, if your brother showed up, he got his bottles.

Is that beer that good? I remember having it on tap a couple years ago and wasn't all that impressed, pretty barrel forward, not much else going on, a little thin
I had it last night from the bottle. It was very barrel forward and not very good.

:( That's unfortunate. I'll still buy one to see, but I don't have high hopes now.
It was kind of shocking how boozy it was and I normally don't have an issue with that. I do think though it will mellow with time kind of like Deths Tar.

every rev BA beer in my experience starts pretty boozy fresh but mellows well. deth's tar is a perfect example of a beer that was not very good upon release but is far, far better now.

I agree. Every BA beer I've had from Revolution except perhaps Straight Jacket comes off as "hot" right off the bat.

Speaking of Revolution, here are some current rumors (literally rumors - so don't quote me!) for what may be next:

Year-round specialty 6-packs - Unsessionable is just the first, but the hope is to release 4 specialty 6-packs throughout the year, probably at the midpoint between the seasonal releases. Also, it costs something like $5K to make the very first can for a new label.

Additional year-round beers - Fist City or A Little Crazy may enter the year-round lineup (apparently, things are leaning towards Fist City). If you're going to make an impact on store shelves, you need a certain 'critical mass' of beers you can put all in a row and 5-7 seems to be the ideal number.

12-packs of Cross of Gold - While they could do 12-packs of Anti-Hero, there is concern that could devalue the 6-pack too much. I dunno - people seem to keep buying 6-packs of Lagunitas even though they have 12-packs. But, regardless, they may do 12-packs of beers not available in 6-packs, such as Cross of Gold. Likely at a $15 price point.

Crazy big expansion plans - All of the space used for the Oktoberfest party will be used before too long. They're adding a new brewhouse as well as giant fermenters outside.
